As we all know, Clash of Clans upgrades unlock many benefits for players; new defenses, resources and bonuses await upon upgrading your Town Hall; however, reaching three stars at Town Hall 15 requires skill and precision.
Utilizing effective funneling and attacking strategies is key to earning three stars on The Humble 15 server. Here are five effective TH15 attack strategies.
1. Hog Riders
Hog Riders are an effective troop that can cause great harm in multiple ways. Their high base damage and high health allow them to take out multiple buildings in one attack; and their bypass of walls adds even further to their damage potential. Hog Riders may also be combined with Miners as part of an “Hog Miner” strategy which allows both troops to target defenses without worrying about Heroes and Skeleton Traps protecting them; additionally they make great partners when combined with cheaper swarms thanks to their high hitpoints allowing them to tank them while still doing considerable damage!
It can be especially devastating against bases with many walls, as they can quickly jump over them. Hog Riders also prioritize defenses and can quickly kill a Crown Tower within several attacks if deployed near the center of your base. Hog Riders offer great potential but must be carefully planned out and executed upon to be effective against attacks from them.
An effective tactic against Hog Riders is deploying air units such as Bombers, Minion Hordes or Ice Golems at the area where Hogs will land – this will obstruct his path and force him to go around it; an alternative option could be strategically placing Guards or Logs near them to cancel all hits and stop them connecting to Crown Tower; lastly a multi-target Inferno Tower can quickly wipe them out as its multiple-target Inferno Bomb will hit from all directions while stopping them from healing; additionally a Giant Bomb will do 1.5x damage so centralized placement is key!

At TH15, it is also worthwhile upgrading any remaining laboratory upgrades for all the troops you use. This is particularly important when upgrading hero levels that require large amounts of Dark Elixir to complete. 3. Balloons

Once the Town Hall is taken down, its remaining buildings can easily be taken out with the remaining army that was protecting it. Proper funneling allows Root Riders to penetrate deep into the base while Queen and Archer Queen help clear away defensive structures towards the end of an attack.
Balloons are essential in this strategy as they can be used to deflect air defenses and distract enemy troops. Furthermore, the Grand Warden can play an essential role as his Life Gem ability absorbs most of the damage taken from one enemy troop – especially useful against low hitpoint units such as Miners and Balloons that lack much hitpoint protection.
Players should keep in mind that even Grand Warden is vulnerable to traps of certain levels, including Seeking Air Mines with level 3 or higher Seeking ability. To counter this threat, Balloons near him should be used to deceive these mines into attacking him instead. The Giga Inferno is Town Hall 15’s defensive weapon of choice, dealing massive damage per second when Town Hall 15 is damaged or 51% of an enemy base has been destroyed. A significant upgrade over its predecessor from Town Hall 14, this powerful upgrade can quickly clear out small groups of Bowlers or Balloons while being damaging to larger troops like Heroes and Archer Queens as well. Furthermore, this Poison Spell deals damage against all attacking units simultaneously slowing their movement speed down – potentially devastating against enemy armies attempting to invade.
Heal Spells are essential in this attack as they allow Hog Riders to evade AoE defenses, Giant Bombs or even other Dragons that might appear.
